| Its June 1974 and Arnie Burchardt captured nearly new CNW SD40-2 #6856 at the Butler,WI diesel house. Who at that time would of guessed that the SD40-2 would become one of the most successful products that EMD would produce? Lots of things have changed since then, the C&NW is gone, you likely would be arrested taking this shot, but there are a lot of SD40-2s putting in a honest days work for their owner to this day!
